Well... fuck. I'm pretty set on what my top 2021 albums are so far. But hearing "Antidote" is a complete revelation. The music's all over the place in terms of influences: think post-punk, alt noise, some metal-ish hardcore with soaring almost (dare I say) Morrissey-like emotive vocals. In short: this is awesome. I'm going to spend a good amount of time with "Antidote" to determine if it measures up to say "Maere", "Eve" or that fucking Black Sheep Wall album. But trust me - it's mind-altering.
Favorite track: Dismantling.

For 25 years, IMPURE WILHELMINA has been creating a singular music on the borders of rock and metal.
